Hello friends! Jamie was recently interviewed by a fine young gentleman in LA about Lily and Oliver, and this is the podcast for you to listen to! Thanks a lot to Will Norman, and be sure to check out his earlier episodes as well for lots of awesome film making tips.
Another awesome piece about Lily and Oliver came out today, this time in the Vancouver Courier magazine! Make sure to go pick up a copy and keep it in a vacuum sealed Mona Lisa-style chamber so that when this becomes incredibly successful, you can say you were there at the beginning. As the article states, we have pretty lofty goals for how many fans we are going for by the end of August, so literally every share on Facebook and Twitter (and good old fashioned speaking) helps out a TON!

It’s that magical time! I do believe I have two miraculous dates to share with everyone! Let’s not beat around the bush, shall we?
Behind the scenes documentary will premiere Monday, June 20! It looks so good, I can’t wait for everyone to see it. There are so many smiling faces and happy people, it’s just the bees knees.
THEN! One week later Lily and Oliver will premiere on Monday, June 27!!! YAYYYYY!!!! Everyone will finally get to see what I, and so many others, have put so much hard work into! It will be glorious, I promise you this!
So mark your calendars, folks! And bookmark this page, as it will be the place to see both pieces when they release. See you soooooooooon
Feels like I haven’t updated this blog in forevs, yo! Which is weird, since so much has been going on! Unfortunately it has mostly been behind the scenes stuff, so there hasn’t been a whole lot to show. But I can tell!
Right now we are in the final stretch of post on Lily and Oliver, and it is going swimmingly. It has been edited and color corrected, now it just needs to have some kickass beats put on top and we will be all set. So much to editor Josh Stern, colorist Hope LaVelle, and composer/sound designer Joel Tibbits for all of your hard work!
ALSO! I saw a rough cut of the behind the scenes documentary being edited and directed by Samantha Green, and that looks amazing as well. We figured you guys have been so patient, looking at all of the BTS photos on the Facebook page, we might as well give you something that moves and talks as well! It may well end up being longer than the dang episode, there is THAT MUCH sweet content to show off!
SO WHEN can you expect to see something? Well, I don’t want to give dates until I know and have finished products in my hands but trust me, it’s soon. Like…really soon The documentary will go up first, and that should be less than a week away. SO GET EXCITED! You’re young and nimble, so jump up and down and scream at the top of your lungs, because it’ll be worth it!

There are few things more hypnotic and intoxicating than watching Jamie Chapman and Bob Woolsey talk a lot. SO MUCH SO, in fact, that the only way to keep you from being hypnotized into a euphoric state drooling at your computer is to break up the conversation with lots of quick edits and jump cuts so you don’t lose focus!
This was shot a couple weeks ago, so we hadn’t been through the rigorous trenches of shooting at the time. But it includes TONS of nuggets about why we are doing this, where the ideas came from, and what funny noises we can make with our faces. It’s gold.
